Who We Are

The Urban Food Movement, (TUFM), is an independent, tax-exempt, not-for-profit food sharing initiative that services South Fulton, Georgia. The goal of TUFM is to alleviate waste and food insecurities by providing food that supermarkets, grocery distributors, and food banks would otherwise discard. We achieve this goal by soliciting, collecting, and packaging food for distribution as well as providing nutrition, meal planning, grocery shopping, and culinary educational opportunities to our target population. TUFM strives to be a truly community supported organization by partnering with other local non-profit agencies, congregations, organizations, businesses, and individuals. It is vital to our organization that all members of our community are welcome; therefore we have no income, identification, or geographic requirements.
